Question about use of rocket droids

Considering how many upgrades are necessary to make that interaction work, it seems fair to me.

I will not count on AMG in next year for any errata in this. Why? This was 8 person company that get WHOLE sw ffg stuff. They will need time to catch evrything (from retailers, production, new agreements and so on). They dont even have any personel designig armada. They are short on stuff and evean if they will hire one they will need a time to make a good product.

New meta will ruin squadrons. Big guns will do work now. Looking on small amount of options seps and reps get now I dont think they will ever be able to try to fight empire/rebels without such stuff like this droids, plasma shields and more. If they want to be competitive they need such tricks.

Personally I think it is fair. If you deploy maximum of 3 moderate ships (to be honest dice pools on cwarmada ships compared to erlier armada ships put them in B- class) with unimpresive squadrons (really they dont have much edge and very few aces) against thirsty huge dice pools of empire/rebels ships that are far more maneuverable it is like puthing them in a front of firing squad.

I'm fine with this new tricks. They give them a chance to win. For example main defence of seps vs squadrons i ion guns. They squadrons dont possess any edge or alpha strike like empire of 6 dice blue pool or resilience of Rebels with ton of escort and nasty effects on aces.

Maybe in the future, when seps/reps have more stuff to fight they wil change it. But for a good of this game not now 😉

I hope we'll get an errata on that... I don't think the admiral is supposed to give a bonus die every time a ship activates.
