Can you use Hyperwave Signal Boost to deploy and attack with your set aside squadrons from the Invisible Hand title? I think you can, but I just want to be sure. Thanks!
So if I set aside 4 tri-fighters with IH and put 4 Hyenas in the rapid launch bay, I can vomit out all 8 by resolving one squadron command and then activate 4 of them?
I'm afraid not. Hyperwave Signal Boost only treats a squadron as though it were activated with a squadron command "while attacking." Even if that weren't the case, it couldn't affect squads that aren't already on the table.
It takes an actual squadron command to deploy those squads, and those occur outside HSB's timing window.
@itzSteve If you're willing to wait until the squadron phase, you could probably do something fun with Invisible Hand + Rapid Launch Bays with TI-99. Vomit out, say, 9 Vultures and activate 5 for the IH bonus, forcing your opponent to either eat Counter 3 from the Vultures he's now tied up with, or shoot your already activated squads and get shot more later. Phlacc-Arphoc or Grievous would love it too.
It's nearly 100 points in AA tech with partially limited reach so I wouldn't say it's good, but it at least seems entertaining and you could have a few Hyenas lurking.
Yep!
