Title says it all. I'm slightly worried and disappointed that in this wave of four ships we didn't see any 1.0 upgrade cards.
While I have two upgrade card packs, I would assume they would introduce some of the older cards in the new size in every CW wave to round out players' collections.
I find the whole thing a tad annoying. Just pick a card size & stick to it!
What about the generic cards in the two new core sets reactive gunnery, munitions and parts resupply, they came out the same time as the card pack. The purpose of the card pack was mainly so new players starting out into clone wars didn’t have to buy the GCW ships just for cards. What about old players not wanting to play the CW factions why did those cards not get included in the card pack for them?
Along with a ship upgrade card pack, I could foresee a second upgrade card pack with all the new generics for the GCW faction players. Shame it seems that would be a while from now for those people.
It seems to take an age just to get restocks. I dear say that GCW players will be forgotten for sometime to come. Look at how long rebel players waited while the SSD came out. They have had 1 ship in the last 3 years.
@XR8rGREAT "hey have had 1 ship in the last 3 years." Thats true. But they are not a bad spot right now. With 1.5 and SH (i mean here the upgrades that can be used by non-SH ships) and some of the generic upgrades from CW opens up new ways to play. A rebalancing of the old ships would certainly be nice, but I still think one can experiment and play with them for a year or so comfortably. (Ofc we have imba stuff which makes people wanna cry and not really rewarding interesting combos... looking at you Onager TB, MMJ)
I agree that both Rebels and the Empire are in a good spot. But what I'm getting at is there is some people who can't afford a 3rd or 4th faction. Or have no interest in the CW. So they need to keep those players interested as well.
@XR8rGREAT I think the only relevant new cards are Flak Guns and PD Ions? PD Ions may be hard to get, but there's a lot of Flak Guns in the new expansions so I expect those won't be too expensive.
