@GhostofNobodyInParticular Apparently they are primarily extra stories from Rogue Squadron that take place during the same timeline. Some of them are hinted at in the X-wing series as they occur either between books or when we are following the wraiths, etc. There is also some story lines set during 4,5 & 6 as well. They were recommended to me by a friend who is just as big a SW fan as I am so I trust his recommendation.
@Chamberlin - the X-Wing series is in comic book form? That sounds really cool. The books have lots of imagery that is well suited to that format (though also lots that don't. . . hmmm).
I haven't read many of the comics but I'm looking to pick up the trades of the Rogue Squadron series after re-reading the book series for the 9th or so time.
