Happy Friday everybody! It's a hot summer, I hope those of you affected by fires are safe!
Question of the week (attempting to somewhat keep in theme): How significant for you is the Concentrate Fire command? I hardly ever use it, except maybe 1 turn (3 or 4, usually) for a couple of ships. Generally my ordering is Engineering, Nav, CF, Squad, unless it's a carrier in which case Squad takes the first place and everything else shifts over.
I played two recent games with a similar list. In the first game, my MC30 had a navigate when it needed a ConFire to kill a Neb. In the second game, the MC30 ConFired but couldn't jump over the ship I wanted without a nav.
Haven't gotten around to trying an Acclimator with SMBs and APTs, but I expect to use a lot of CF with that ship!
Very important for me with small ships. Arquitens and Nebs love it, and MC30s, Glads should mix it in with their navs.
Never used to use it on larger ships but the new requirements to CF to activate Gunnery Teams or Mon Karren mean it gets plotted more. Vanto/Wulff/Munitions resupply can help out here as can Tarkin or Garm as commanders. Ravager and Krennic of course need to do it most of the time to justify spending the points on them.
Only generally on Command 1 ships as the situation arises.

I agree that I don't use it that often for most ships but my biggest exception is on my Arquitens. Those ships love this command and if I already have navigation covered by JJ or really need to hammer down with Romodi this command can really shine!
