Agreed. But I want to give a big thank you to the team working hard to put this place together. I found the FFG forums because I wanted to find organized play events for Armada but I found the greater reason I liked visiting was for the community. This place looks different but it is already shaping up into the space we all used to love to come together and chat.
Glad you all made the jump, and I am thankful the lights are on somewhere.
It was a strange feeling at the end. Like an empty ship. Days ago I had resolved to stay until the end. I kept posting comments. Though it wasn't the end for Armada or for me, I wanted to be there when the forum that was always open in the first browser window on my phone, went dark. I've been there since the beginning, lurking at first, but always there.
Kudos to @The Jabbawookiee, I actually typed "here" and had to change it to "there" if nothing else, you have captured the feeling of our old online haunt. Armada will endure!
Alexa, play "Anakin's Betrayal."
I managed to post the last reply at 12:24 from Guerrero Mexico.
Ironic I was replying to Biggs "last one to post turn the lights off".
It redirected me to the FFG website just as I clicked next topic.
The lights are off Biggs.
Then Cubanboy's post WAS the top of the forum at the end.
It is as it should be.
Thank you.
So... that means nobody turned the lights off before it closed? That seems like it'll come back to bite somebody down the road.
Seems very strange to not go to the FFG forums... 😢

So this is how Leia felt when Alderman
"as if a million voices cried out in terror..."
I had just written the secret to avert global climate destabilization on that forum...
Ohh well nothing lasts forever...
Is this what reincarnation is like?
Well maybe, you will know in your time... :)
