When I have played locally, my bids have always guaranteed me first place. I haven’t met up with a MC30 player yet (that was me as well when I wanted to play the bad guys lol), so not sure how it will perform against that type of list. The four Ties are just a road bump, not sure if Kallus should be on my raider or if Ex Racks on instead. Another option I have thought of is Kuat and 2 GSD’s, but that’s for another day!
I have been thinking this list through on my evening dog walks and have decided to replace Ozzel with Screed , add in some Tie Fighters and drop one GSD. More to come!
Flotilla could add Munitions Resupply. It can give out CF tokens to the GSDs since Ordnance experts only gets you 2 black rerolls now.
Ozzel means the ships can do gimmick speed +2 or -2 changes but his main use is that ships can do other commands with out having to navigate. I think he is a reasonable squadron commander for this reason. Is a reasonable number of GSDs have ETs then they should be navigating most of the time so maybe you could use a different commander like Screed or JJ?
Demolisher would be good still leaving you with an 8 point bid. Drop 1 ET if you want a really decent bid back but I think around 8 points should be fine most games.
To almost guarantee ACMs go off put Titus & 3 SFOs on the GSDs and officer Vader on the flotilla to choke them (or switch commands).
For a flagship the Raider-I is vulnerable so may have to stay out of the action to stay safe. A Raider-II, HIE, D-Cap, Corvus or an Arquitens-LC, Needa, TRC are alternative Flagships that can stay safe at range but still contribute long range firepower.
