Another try at a "concept fleet". Since I realized that I could field exactly 134 points of generic republic squadrons once I got a second squadron pack, I had to try to put together a fleet to use them.
This is the result. A Ven-II to get into the thick of things and trigger Plo's ability, Nevota Bee and Radiant VII with BCC for extra rerolls on those 12 bomber dice:

The problem with dropping Tranquility is that the Ven-II has to go very much into harm's way - it needs all the defense it can get. Dropping the BCC is probably a better idea, but it sucks to loose all those rerolls.
Rings might be a good idea, thought they still depend on placing the ARCs in the right position... A Flag Bridge and AFFM would be great, but that's six points - would definitely have to sacrifice the BBC for that.
However after some though I realized that the Flight Controllers should go on the Ven-II. Five (or six) fighters with one extra die is probably better than 3(4) with extra die and swarm, since they still gets those swarm rerolls.
If they somehow gets the drop on enemy squadrons it's four 4-die ARCs and two 5-die Deltas. Should clear things up pretty well, and the the Y-wing will have Grit when make their runs so has a bit better chance of bypassing any defenders.
If they get jumped by a TIE swarm first, thought... Ouch. 😥
I like it. The ARCs are very slow and with 4 of them you probably want some speed upgrade like AFFM, FCTs or Hyperspace rings. I would put the latter on the Venator probably dropping Tranquility. It would be nice to get a second set of Flight controllers for the Venator. Plo needs to be attacking ships to justify inclusion and against strong fighter opposition (and with no braces for your fighters) you will need to win the fighter battle quickly. BCC is the only thing to trim I suppose.... Do you sacrifice rerolls on bombing to ensure you can actually do some bombing? My preferred fighter build is 3 ARCs, 4 Deltas and Anakin. It is better against fighters and with only 8 rather than 10 you don't need so much squad control ability. Against ships I let Nevoota activate the ARCs getting a swarm reroll rather than buying a BCC. Surprise Attack, Fighter Ambush & Superior Positions?
