Tried out a new Onager list. Turns out I suck at placing my ships and maneuvering, but it was interesting to play anyway. The idea is to use the Onager to force the enemy to close at which point the limited ranged firepower of the Vic-Is stops being a problem.
Jonus really helps with getting accs for all those red/black attacks - but dang, flak can really hurt at times!

I tried to keep the Vics in front of the Onager to give it, at least, an extra die. Mostly I chose Romodi because 1) he's cheap and 2) the enemy can't use obstacles for cover.
If my opponent places his obstacles off to the side that still means he can't use them to hide from the Onager!
With 2 VSDs, made even slower by the wish to keep the QBTs working, do you think you will get lots of opportunities to get obscured shots for Romodi? Your opponent will be placing his 3 obstacles way out of the way and you don't have a large bid for second player.
