@Pakinlead @KaptajnBlodpolse I've thought about this and made some updates. I do see your point about the Salvos; maybe I won’t get to use them multiple times per turn if I have 8 squads. On the other hand, 4 of them have Heavy. I’ll have to put it on the table sometime and see. I would expect the Venator to get shot multiple times (by ships or squads) since it's so many points.

I've been trying to figure out how to build a similar Luminara squadrons list (and just Luminara lists in general, since she seems good but I cannot figure her out for the life of me :P ), so this thread's given me a lot to think about.
@Bertie Wooster I like your squadron layout and will have to adjust mine accordingly. Part of my concern with Lumi and heavy squads is that the traditional GAR setup of generic V19s and Plo (or other Delta-7b aces) seems counterintuitive because the Jedi likely won't spend their tokens behind the tokenless Escort squads. However, Axe and/or Kickback is a pretty elegant solution to this that I didn't consider, so thank you!! It does also mean that Plo's value goes down unless he's flying support for your Y-Wings, however.
I do agree with @KaptajnBlodpolse about the Venator to a point. If the GAR is bringing heavy squads, odds are the chain-Salvo Venator won't be able to Salvo squadrons that often. I think keeping it a Salvo gunship could work out well and am prepared to eat my hat, but I would think the Salvo Venator would be only able to brutalize enemy ships (bear in mind I have zero experience flying the Venator). Maybe the Acc should be getting some heavier squadron support like Flight Controllers to more quickly clear out enemy squads if the Venator will stay a Salvo ship.
@Bertie Wooster About taking Advanced Gunnery. In my opinion, your opponent stands to gain a lot more from AdvGun than your fleet would, since GAR ship fronts are a little lackluster. Is it so you can double-flak? I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.
Yeah, I was trying to double down on the Luminara/Thermal combo but maybe Boosted on Nevoota Bee is more important. I can fit more squads with defense tokens that way too.

About command range, I think it's Nevoota Bee that really needs it, and you can't get it on a Acc-II. 🤔
@Sabelkatten The Venator II has black/blue AA, so I can guarantee at least a black hit/crit when salvoing squads. DBY is really useful against squadrons when you can keep refreshing the Salvos.

My hope is that flak, salvo and Ordnance Pods will help wipe out the enemy squads in addition to my own squads' attacks. Then turn to bombing. That's the theory anyway. But perhaps Boosted Comms over Flak Guns would make sense.
@Bertie I'm not really sure how your fleet wants to be flown, I think that you should either focus on squadrons or salvo, as I think that those two want different upgrades to be put on your ships.
Not sure if DBY lasers will be very useful. I figure you're most likely to multi-salvo against squads, so the auto-crit won't help.🤔 Might want to try to squeeze in one more ace to leverage Lumi as well.
