Hi, I am a rebel/CIS player but I've always found the interdictor interesting. (it was one of my favorite ships in Empire At War). So this is the list:
Name: Speed control ahead Faction: Imperial Commander: General Romodi
Assault: Rift Assault Defense: Rift Ambush Navigation: Minefields
Interdictor Suppression Refit (90) • General Romodi (20) • Hondo Ohnaka (2) • Proximity Mines (4) • Grav Shift Reroute (2) • G7-X Grav Well Projector (2) = 120 Points
Interdictor Suppression Refit (90) • Admiral Titus (2) • Proximity Mines (4) • G7-X Grav Well Projector (2) = 98 Points
Onager Testbed (96) • Intel Officer (7) • Ordnance Experts (4) • Veteran Gunners (5) • Orbital Bombardment Particle Cannons (5) • Cataclysm (5) = 122 Points
Squadrons: • 6 x TIE Fighter Squadron (48) = 48 Points
Total Points: 388
So basically the idea is very simple: 1) Bid for second player, 2) put grav wells on the sides of the deployment zone, so only the very middle is outside of the bubbles, and 3) move the obstacles with mines to the center. So, no matter what will the opponent chose, the middle of the play area will be packed with mines obstacles and unkillable mins or a Rift. Or they'll have ships starting at speed zero. One is not a big problem, they start with that, increase speed to 1. But if more of them are at speed 0, Cataclysm will have some fun time. Let me add a picture how deployment looks like. Thats the minefields setup. No large ship can fit at the edge of the deployment zone without reducing its speed to zero. The Rift objectives would look similar.

Yup. Fingers crossed I can kill the ships fast enough. Nevertheless, this looks an interesting concept, can't wait to try out.
MSU will take a while to close... But 6 Decimators will blow through those TIEs in short order and put a serious hurt on your ships.
@Sabelkatten yeah possibly. Maybe MSU too. I was thinking to include Ozzel exactly for this out-of-range scenario. I'll have to experiment with it
I think it's possible to fit any ship outside the Onager's range during setup. That means no "free" shots.
Still, I'd hate trying to get a fleet up to speed and turned around in time to engage an Onager from that starting position.😣
An imperial fleet with maxed-out rouge squadrons will probably cause you a lot of pain, thought.
