I find that if I overload my ships with upgrades, I invariably forget some, so I have gone lean.
The Munificent takes the centre and slow rolls up the middle with the Vultures. The Providence bring token fed by Tikkes in the Hardcell do a short hook (L or R). The Recusant starts off wide and appears at turn 3 or 4 on a long hook.

Any comments or criticism are welcome. I do particularly need advice on my objectives. I chose Fleet Ambush to have either the Munificent or Recusant forward to take on any Onagers early or get into the rear flank of an SSD. (Never played one or been against one so hoping this is the right tactic).

Put Medical Team on Tide of Progress. Only one more point, and a fantastic combo.
Station Assault, Contested Outpost or Fire Lanes allow you to gain points and wait for the enemy to fly into your long range. Doomed Station is good.
The problem with Fleet Ambush is your opponent can deploy two flotillas first, then by that point you've already deployed two combat ships, and then your first player opponent will deploy Onager/Venator/ISD/whatever pointed at your ship's weak side and maybe even have squadrons to boot.
